Regular Events

Beyond our Sunday services, we have other regular ways of being involved, serving God, and growing in our faith and community.

‘Joy of Discovery’ is our regular Bible Study, once a month after the Sunday service. We spend an hour chewing over a passage of the Bible and what difference it makes to our lives. It’s a fun, reflective, and enriching time, and is open to all.

Our faithful group of Intercessors meets every single Thursday evening, 7–8pm, to bring before God the needs of the world and our church.

We have a Men’s Group and Mothers’ Union, in which people support each other and organise practical tasks for St John’s and the wider church. They usually meet after the service on the last Sunday of the month.

‘Crochet & Chat’ brings people together to enjoy making friends while learning to crochet or knit. It happens at the church on the first and third Fridays of the month, 1pm-3pm.
