A major section of Luke's Gospel records Jesus' journey to Jerusalem with its focus on his rejection; crucifixion and resurrection. Isaiah prophesied that God would send a suffering servant to rescue his people and Luke is convinced that those prophecies find fulfilment in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. As we prepare for Lent and the Easter season let's take time together to be inspired once more by Jesus' sacrifice and great love for the world.
