Despite the rebellion of Adam and Eve

a) God provides a promise – promise that one day the serpent will be defeated

b) God provides garments – clothing to cover the nakedness

c) God protects Eden – he guards them from irreversible disaster

d) God provides a path – a path out of trouble and danger, a path of rescue, a path of hope and he walks with us
